What's wrong with Dioni from Camela?

Dioni Martín, Camela’s singer, has been forced to cancel three of the duo’s concerts in the middle of the summer season. We analyse his state of health.

According to his son, Dioni had been feeling a bit off in the voice and would have preferred to rest on medical advice. The group has been performing almost daily all summer, and this has taken its toll on his vocal cords from so much hustle and live performance.

It is important to remember that this ailment is exactly the same one suffered by many artists who have to rest their voices for days in order to regain the usual tones for their concerts. Likewise, the effects of high temperatures, constant travel, air conditioning and so on are reason enough for a range of problems such as laryngitis or pharyngitis that make it impossible to take the stage.

What matters is that Dioni and his partner have taken it in stride, and that they will soon be back to make us dance to their songs. No doubt Martín will not lack the affection of his loved ones at this time.
